She is currently the Director of the National Institutes of Health Office of Strategic Coordination, and has done research in the past in molecular and cell biology as well as developmental genetics. Now, she works to fund the future of scientific research. In this episode, we talk about graduate school, the ups and downs of research, and the future of the science community.
